Read More →The facility is equipped with two state-of-the-art labs wrapped around an open collaborative learning space. Unique design attributes include a column at the main entrance inspired by the molecular structure of DNA, fenestration patterns derived from the fibonacci series, lines of latitude and longitude displayed on the floor of the hallways, starfield used as led light pattern in main entrance and a collimated beam of light to illuminate the central stairway as well as optical experiments.
The school is the most energy efficient facility in the school district decreasing the operational costs by half of the amount of similar facilities that meet energy code requirements. This building is an a functional example of sustainability for students and future generations.
