The lab, constructed with a load bearing steel frame and steel roof structure, grows many samples in the greenhouse used by undergraduate and graduate students in various fields of study.

The project consisted of a 2,940-square-foot addition to the existing CSU Weed Research Building. The lab is primarily utilized for research and study to support sustainable weed management contributing to sustainable cropping systems.
