This particular project was phased from the very beginning, with owner occupancy and commencement of operations taking place after the first phase of construction. With this being the case, maintaining operation within the facility was a prerequisite to any phased design concept or construction activity. The phased design was developed in a fashion that provided a modular approach to the raised access floor as well as the critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure. The 103,000-square-foot facility is designed as a Tier II+ operation and includes 8,200-square-feet of renovated office space, 40,000-square-feet of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) exterior infrastructure yard and 54,000-square-feet of interior data center and support spaces, which includes 19,000-square-feet of raised access floor area.
