Winter Park Regional Transit Center

Saunders is completing the new regional transit center for the Town of Winter Park and transit operator The Lift.

The new regional transit center will provide a center for operations and maintenance of The Lift’s 27-vehicle fleet, providing protection for buses in winter months, and ensuring safety for operators, maintenance workers and riders.

The 60,000-square-foot building being constructed on a 12-acre site in Grand County will include indoor bus parking, five maintenance bays, electric charging stations, and dedicated administration and dispatch spaces. The new transit center will replace an outdated facility and provide enhanced reliability in transit services to better serve the area’s growing tourism and workforce needs.
